Dividing a segment into congruent parts

Given a segment divide the segment into a given number of equal parts.
Divide segment AB into 5 congruent parts.
1) With a straight edge draw a ray from A (the angle measure does not matter)
2) Starting at A, with any suitable radius mark off 5 consecutive congruent parts on the ray.
3) With a straight edge, connect the end of the 5th congruent segment to the other end of segment AB to form angle 1.
4) Copy angle 1 to the intersections of each of the 5 congruent parts from step 2 and draw the rays through segment AB
(This step could be: construct 4 lines parallel to the segment in step 4 at the intersections of the 5 congruent segments in step 2)
5) Each of the parts on segment AB should be congruent
